Hi! My name is Ava Sanchez, and I'm the founder of Ava Edits Essays.

In high school, I was laser-focused on getting into a top university, but my family wasn't all that familiar with the application process and I couldn't afford college prep courses. The summer before my senior year, I reached out to my older friends for interview and essay tips; it was this experience (combined with the increased need that arose due to the pandemic) that inspired me to start Ava Edits Essays. In July of 2020, I assembled a team of accomplished college students that wanted to help other ambitious kids to thrive without the financial burden associated with college application essay editing.

Services like this typically cost hundreds or thousands of dollars per essay, but I wanted Ava Edits Essays to be inclusive and accessible. We are firmly committed to offering high quality, affordable services to anyone that needs assistance. We work within the framework of your essay to ensure that you still sound like you--the goal is to make every draft the best it can be, NOT to rewrite your paper. Every suggestion that we offer in our line-by-line editing is tailored specifically to your writing, helping you to find your voice and amplify your unique message.
